W.R. "Bill" McClenny, 89, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Graham Harvey of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. McClenny was born in Dallas and has been an Amarillo resident since 1941. He owned and operated Bill's Delivery Service in Amarillo from 1951 until 1969.
He was a bus driver for the city of Amarillo from 1969 until 1978. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He married Ola Bell Fowler on Feb. 9, 1933, in Hollis, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; and two brothers, Emmett McClenny of Amarillo and James McClenny of Longview, Ore.
The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice or National Alzheimer's Association.
