Mavia Spurlin Stinson was born November 11, 1910 at Vinson, Oklahoma, where the early years of her life were spent. She was married August 23, 1932 to Edgar C. Stinson. To this union one son Edgar Spurlin Stinson was born. She died July 30, 1942 at Houlton, Maine at the age of 31 years, 8 months and 19 days.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, son, parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Spurlin of Reydon, one sister, Mrs. Jack Chandler of Reydon, two brotherss, James G. of Hurley, New Mexico and Walter of Reydon, also many relaives and scores of friends. She was laid to rest in the Erick Cemetery August 4, 1942.
