HOLLIS, Okla. - O.A. "Buffalo" Boone, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Jim Westmoreland, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery by Stewart Funeral Service.
Mr. Boone was born Aug. 13, 1911, in Hollis. He married Charcey Faye Hollis on Feb. 18, 1928, in Greer County.
Survivors include five sons, W.T. Boone, Doug Boone, Curtis Boone, and Nicky Boone, all of Hollis, and Don Boone of Follett, Texas; four daughters, Lilly Mae Moldenhauer and Jeanne Larance, both of Amarillo, Texas, Elaine Boatwright of Edmond and Fayreen Lucas of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters, Dovie Overby of Snyder and Tisha Mae Boyd of Portales, N.M.; 30 grandchildren; 45 great- grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
