PADUCAH - Lawson William Havins, 81, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Mantooth, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Paducah Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home.
Mr. Havins was born May 23, 1921, in Finney. He married Henrietta Smith on Jan. 7, 1944, in Hollis, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Rush and Kay Truelock, both of Guthrie, and Fay Nix of Pittsburg, Texas; a son, Don Havins of Amarillo; a brother, Chester Havins of Paducah; eight grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren.
