MEMPHIS - Betty Moore, 88, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ with Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Winfield, Ala. She married Lon Moore on Oct. 4, 1933, in Memphis.
Survivors include a son, Troy Moore of Odessa; three daughters, Linda Maddox of Memphis, Dorothy Earls of Hollis, Okla., and Marlene Gholson of St. Peters, Mo.; a sister, Evelyn McWhorter of Memphis; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
