Graveside services for A.F. Roach, 82, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August
1, 2005 at the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.
A. F. Roach was born February 10, 1923 in Hollis, Oklahoma the son of Mack T. and Frankie Mae (Staton) Roach and died Thursday, July 28 2005 in Tuttle.
Mr. Roach was raised in Hollis and graduated from Hollis High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II overseas in the Infantry Division. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
Mr. Roach was one of the first computer programmers in Oklahoma City. He worked in the banking industry and retired in the mid 1980's.
Survivors include: one daughter and her husband: Mary Lu and Phil Mills of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one son and his wife: Bill and Brenda Roach of Tuttle, Oklahoma; two sisters and their husbands: Dorothy and Duard Luck of Hollis, Oklahoma, Louise and Gene Manley of Hollis, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Philip Mills, James and Heather Mills, Patty Mills, Kristie and Jason Hendricks and Jake Roach; Great grandchild: Christian Mills.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
