Rosemound Cemetery


EDMOND -- A celebration of the life of Otto Zeman Jr., 78, of Medford, father of Kathy Morris of Edmond, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Medford. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery, Medford, with military honors by Vance Air Force Base, Enid. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today through Saturday and from 1-7 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements are under the direction of Hills-Ely Funeral Home in Medford.

Zeman was born Sept. 10, 1929, near Medford. He died Monday, March 17, 2008, in Edmond.

Zeman graduated from Medford Public Schools earning scholastic and athletic honors. He served in the Air Force before taking over the family farming and ranching operations. He worked as the assistant manager of the Evergreen Lumber Company in Medford. He served on the Medford School Board and other community boards. He served as a deacon and elder of the First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Collene Alfretta Clark Zeman; his son, Craig Zeman; and his parents, Anna and Otto Zeman Sr.

Other survivors include his daughter, Marsha Triplett of Oklahoma City; a sister, Helen Lamb of Houston; three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Memorials may be made to Free to Live No Kill Animal Sanctuary of Edmond and to the First Christian Church of Medford with Hills-Ely Funeral Home, P.O. Box 280, Medford, OK 73759, serving as custodian of the funds.
