Rosemound Cemetery


Funeral service for Geraldine “Geri” Sturtz, 90, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Holt officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery in Medford, Okla. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Geraldine was born March 28, 1924, on a farm near Medford to Ora and Mettie (Gibbens) Williamson and passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, in Enid.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Frank Sturtz and wife Charlotte of Houston, Texas; and Judith Ortiz and husband Auturo of Tuxtepec, Oaxaca; and her sister, Betty Lebeda of Medford, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fredrick; son James Leroy Sturtz; five sisters and four brothers.
