Rosemound Cemetery


The funeral for Terry Lee Spleth, 56, of Medford, will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Medford. The Rev. Bobby Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Med-ford. Arrangements are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford, Family visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born April 18, 1951, in Oklahoma City to Kenneth and Mary Lue Stout Crowley and died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in Enid after a lengthy illness.

She grew up in Norman and graduated from Norman High School in 1969.

She married Stephen W. Spleth Feb. 19, 1972. They made their home in Norman, moving to Medford in September 1973, where they have lived since.

She worked as a field advisor with the Cherokee Strip Girl Scout Council for a time and was a Girl Scout leader for 20 years. She was an accredited trainer of trainers for the council until it consolidated with the Redlands Council. She was a member of Medford United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Steve, and son Joshua, both of the home; her mother and stepfather, Mary Lue and Gerald Fuzzell of Norman; and one sister, Vicki Jones of Noble.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Joshua Spleth Education Fund.
