Rosemound Cemetery


A graveside service for Esther Jordan, 94, of Medford will be 10 a.m. Friday in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

She was born Nov. 7, 1911, in Ellis County to Mark Ewing and Bertha Myrtle Dopps London and died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at South Park Nursing Home, Oklahoma City.

She graduated from Woodward High School in 1930. She married Glen Morton in 1932. They made their home in Gage. He died in 1941. She married Charles Inscore in 1942. They managed restaurants in Tonkawa, Pond Creek and Medford. He died Aug. 17, 1968. She retired from Bon Ton, Medford.

She later married Newell Jordan. They made their home in Medford. He died in 1985. She moved to Oklahoma City, and lived with her daughter for several years before moving to Sterling House and later South Park Nursing Home.

Surviving are one son, Benny Inscore of Medford; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter and her twin brother.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research, Alzheimer's division.
