The memorial service for William Earnest Boerner, 58-year-old Enid resident, will be at 2 p.m. today, June 13, 2015, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Holt Will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Rosemound Cemetery in Medford with full military honors.

Bill was born April 8, 1957, on Camp Pendelton in Oceanside, Calif., to Robert E. and Deloris J. (Mitchell) Boerner and died Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He moved to Enid in the mid-1990s and on Dec. 19, 1998, he married Kristi Bingham in Calvary Baptist Church. He worked for Seedorf Construction and a laborer and driver for many years. He served proudly in the United States Army where he was honorably discharges with the rank of E-5.

He was a member of Liberty Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Sara Boerner and grandson, Elijah, of Bakersfield, Calif.; son, Shawn and wife, Raven and their daughter on the way, Faith; his father Robert of Laughlin, Nev., and two sisters, Leslie L Trout of North Carolina and Patricia L. Boerner of California., and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris J. Almy, and sister, JoAnna M. Smith.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to either Blue Star Mothers or OMRF (cancer division).
