Rosemound Cemetery


Medford – Services for Goldie L. Anthony, 87, who died Thursday in a Medford nursing home, will be at 9 AM Saturday in the Hills Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Alan Chambers officiating. Burial will be in the Rosemound Cemetery.

Mrs. Anthony was born April 19, 1897, in Kansas. She was married to Loren L. Anthony and they made their home in Medford for many years before his death January 14, 1981.

Mrs. Anthony was a member of the Medford Nazarene Church.

She is survived by two sons, John L. Anthony of Garland, Texas, and Loren J. Anthony of Medford; two daughters, Lettie LaVeta Schwettman of Thorndale, Texas, and Bessie Irene Hagermeier of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a brother, Olen Allgire of Lucerne, California; and eight grandchildren, 21 great – grandchildren and three great – great – grandchildren.
