New Home Cemetery


A memorial service for Frances V. Hite, 90, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Nash Christian Church, Nash. Tom Smith, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be 10 a.m. in New Home Cemetery , Nash. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born July 18, 1918, in Weston, Ore., to Lee Roy and Sarah Catherine Miller Logsdon and died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Cherryvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cher-ryvale, Kan.

She graduated from Nash High School in 1936. She married Ralph E. Hite Sept. 26, 1945, in Nash. They lived in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas before moving to California in 1955. They moved to Parsons, Kan., in 1992. He died June 29, 1997. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Church of the Brethren, Parsons, where she taught Sunday school.

Survivng are one daughter, Jerrie; one sister, Bess Shriver of Enid; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Parsons Church of the Brethren, 4130 Main St., Parsons, KS 67357.
