Funeral services for Michael Gene McConnell, 33, were held February 4, 1997 at the First Baptist Church in Billings, Ok. Rev. Scott Dark officiated. Burial followed at Mt Vernon Cemetery, Billing directed by Sisson Funeral Home of Garber.

Michael was born December 5, 1963 in Blackwell, to Darwin Gene and Shirley Faye (Prince) McConnell and died February 1, 1997.

He married Leatha Marie Anthony on February 25, 1991 in Winfield, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife Leatha of the home in Covington; one daughter Tanna; two sons, Scott and Darrel all of the home; his mother, Shirley McConnell of Billings two brothers, Justin McConnell of Garber and Brent McConnell of Billings; two sisters Melissa McConnell and Michell Anthony both of Billings.

He was preceded in death by his father Darwin McConnell.
