ENID — Richard D. Hager was born to Joseph and Mabel (Hannon) Hager November 15, 1938, in Enid, and passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, at his home in Enid.

Visitation with family will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with a memorial service following at 7:30. Pastor Dave Miller will officiate. Private burial will be in Lamont Cemetery at a later date.

Richard grew up in Enid, and then served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the Postal Service for more than 35 years, holding several positions, including clerk and mail carrier.

On September 25, 1999 he married Beverly Cochran in Waukomis.

Richard is survived by his wife, Beverly, of the home; children, Gary Hager, Rick Hager and Shari Finch, all of Enid; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Hager and Mike Hager, both of Enid; and two sisters, Erma Marney and Nancy Ritchey, both of Enid.

Memorials may be made to O.M.R.F. — Cancer Division.
