Lamont Cemetery


A graveside service for John “Richard” Fink, 92, of Tonkawa, formerly of Lamont, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lamont Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Thomasson will officiate. Arrangements are by Tonkawa Funeral Home, Tonkawa.

He was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Lamont to Frank and Ethel Wirebaugh Fink and died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Willow Haven Nursing Home, Tonkawa.

He grew up and attended school in Lamont where he also farmed for 62 years before moving to Tonkawa.

Surviving are one son, Kenney Fink of Tonkawa; one daughter, Karen Sue Symes of Garden City, Kan.; and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 400 E. Grand Ave., Tonkawa, OK 74653 to First Baptist Church elevator fund.
