Caleb Seth Devries was born Sept. 6, 2005, in Enid, Okla., to Robert and Lori Devries and received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013.

Caleb was a second-grader at Deer Creek-Lamont. He was active in baseball and wrestling. He was an energetic, happy boy who never met a stranger. He was bright and shiny, forever changing the lives of all he touched. His loss is profound. Caleb was preceded in death by his cousin, Casey Winton; great-grandparents, Walter and Virginia Cowen; uncle, Stanley Schuelein; and grandfather, Terry Stough. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Lori Devries; three sisters, Megan Hodges, Shelby Hodges and Lindsey Campbell; great-grandmother, Margaret Matlock; grandparents, Bob and Barbara Devries; and grandmother, Janice Shannon.

Caleb’s funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Deer Creek-Lamont High School Gym, with the Rev. Jeff McReynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
