Lamont Cemetery


Lamont – Funeral services for Jack L. Anderson, Blackwell, will be held 2 PM Tuesday in the Lamont Christian Church with the Reverends Ron Pingleton and Lew Davis officiating.

Anderson, 68, died in Blackwell General Hospital Saturday.

His body will lie in state at his home in Blackwell until 10 AM Tuesday when it will lie in state in the McCafferty Bolick Funeral Home Chapel from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Anderson was born June 9, 1913 in Wann.

He operated the J & W Café in Lamont for many years, but he lived in Blackwell for the past 11 years.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Masonic Park Place Lodge in Houston and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Blackwell. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Lamont.

Memorials may be made through the State Exchange Bank of Lamont.
