October 5, 1896 - May 3, 1986

Cherokee – Services for Roscoe "R. C." Roberts, 89, will be 2 PM Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Howard Shell and the Rev. Lloyd Bakewell officiating.

Roberts died Saturday, May 3, 1986 at a local hospital. Burial will be at the Hawley Cemetery under the direction of the Fisher Funeral Home, Cherokee.

He was born October 5, 1896 in Eldon, Missouri, and has lived in Cherokee for 13 years, having moved from Ventura, California. On April 13, 1973, he married Edith Archer in Kansas. He was a paperhanger.

Survivors include his wife Edith, of the home; a daughter, Helen Allison, Missouri; and seven grandchildren.
