Funeral service for Melvin Lynn Johnson, 34, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Melvin Lynn Johnson was born February 12, 1968, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Weldon and Mary (Botts) Johnson, and died January 2, 2003, in Chickasha.
He attended Chickasha Public Schools and lived in Chickasha most of his life.
He attended Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include: 1 daughter, Kimra Johnson of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; parents, Weldon and Mary Johnson of Chickasha; 1 brother, Eugene Johnson of Chickasha; 1 sister, Carla Wasson and husband, Larry, of Chickasha; grandmother, Ruby Kilgore of Chickasha; 4 nephews: Kevin Johnson of Chickasha, Kirk Johnson of Fairview, Oklahoma, Logan Wasson of Chickasha, Landon Wasson of Chickasha.
Interment will be in the Wood Memorial Cemetery of Cement, Oklahoma, near his grandfather, Richard Botts, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
