Funeral service for Jake A. Haney, 48 of Rush Springs will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Fletcher Baptist Church, Fletcher with Rev. David Hale, pastor of Vimey Ridge Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Marlow, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Jake was born on April 24, 1959 in Lawton to Noah Calvin and Murlean Cooper Haney.

He grew up in Lawton and the family moved to Rush Spring when Jake was a teenager. He graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1977. He played Basketball at USAO in Chickasha. He moved to Maryland and returned to Rush Springs in 1999. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Darla Pierce, of the home; his son, Alex Pierce, of the home; four brothers and sisters in law, Dennis and Linda Haney, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Raymond and Danita Haney, of Rush Springs, his twin brother, Kenny and Retta Haney, of Lawton, and Matthew Haney, of Lawton; five sisters and brothers in law, Darlene and Leslie Upton, of Lawton, Kim Haney, of Lawton, Kelly and Glenn Wahahrockah, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bobbie Hinch, of Lawton, and Billie and Bill Rogers, of Lawton; two aunts and two uncles, Lennie Muncy, of Lawton, Robbie Morgan, Oklahoma City, Liniel Cooper, of Wisconsin, and Eddie Haney, of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew Scotty Haney, of Lawton, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Linda Gaye Haney, Allie Faye Tallant, and Joyce Sewell; one brother, Roy Haney; and one niece, Hope Upton.

Funeral service for Liniel Matthew Haney, 39 of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Jim Antwine, officiating.

Mr. Haney died on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Marlow, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Liniel Matthew was born on August 11, 1968 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Noah Calvin and Murlean Cooper Haney. He moved with his family to Rush Springs in 1973 and attended school there. He worked at Schwan's for many years in Waco, Texas and at Checker Wrecker until 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie Kerr, of Michigan; four sons, Samuel Matthew Kerr, of Michigan, Justin Kerr, of Lawton, Dylan Dryden, of Groesbeck, Texas, and Dalton Dryden, of Groesbeck, Texas; two brothers, Dennis Haney and his wife, Lynda, of Sulphur, and Kenny Haney, of Lawton; five sisters, Darlene Upton and her husband, Leslie, of Lawton, Kim Haney, of Lawton, Bobbie Hinch, of Lawton, Billie Rogers and her husband, Bill, of Lawton, and Kelly Wahahrockah and her husband, Glenn, of Oklahoma City; his sisters in law, Danita Haney, of Rush Springs, Darla Pierce, of Rush Springs, and Gail Haney, of Maryland; his brothers in law, Grover Sewell, of Lawton, and Richard Tallant, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; his children's mothers, Carolyn Dryden of Waco, Texas, and Denise Kerr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Roy Haney, Jake Haney, and Raymond Haney; three sisters, Linda Gay Haney, Allie Faye Tallant, and Joyce Dean Sewell; and one great niece, Hope Upton.
