Louise [Pelzer] Newberry

MRS. NEWBERRY DIES SUDDENLY

Verden, March 4--Mrs. Louise Pelzer Newberry, age 44, died monday evening, March 1. She had gone to the hen house to gather eggs and died from a heart attack.

Mrs. Newberry is a pioneer resident of this community, coming here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pelzer in 1901 and settled on the farm where Mrs. Newberry died.

Surviving members of her family include her husband, Fred Newberry; two sons: Arthur of Sunol. Calif., and Robert at home; two daughters: Mrs. Ethel Gray of Anadarko, Route 1, and Rosa Newberry at home; two brothers: Gus Pelzer of Verden and Ernest Pelzer of Cyril; and two sisters: Mrs. Gusie Flowers of California and Mrs. Bertha Ryan of Verden.

Funeral arrangements are pending on the arrival of Mr. Newberry and son, Arthur, who are returning from California. Services will be under the direction of the Hansen Funeral Home.
