Virginia Mae Galloway
April 2, 1915 ~ June 11, 1916

On Sunday afternoon, June 11th, little Virginia Mae Galloway answered the angel's call and went home to Heaven. Little Virginia was permitted to brighten the home of her parents and the hearts of those who knew her, just sixteen months and nine days.

She was a patient sufferer from cholera infantum about two weeks. Even in her hours of suffering her patience was remarkable and her sweetness made itself manifest.

A short funeral service was read at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Swalley, by Rev. A. B. Waldrep, and the little body was laid to rest in the Verden cemetery.

Besides the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Galloway and her grandparents there are many friends who loved and will miss her. Altho her place among us is vacant, her place in our memory will ever be full and we believe, that as God's love is great, the little hands are strengthening ties still binding us nearer to Him. - Contributed.
