Nellie Ann [Wilmeth] Casady
September 19, 1871 ~ May 14, 1913


Mrs. Nellie Casady died at her home southwest of Verden, Wednesday, May 14th, after a short illness.

Mrs. Casady with her husband, moved to this community, from Woods county Oklahoma, about seven years ago, and was highly respected by her friends and neighbors.

A husband, five children, a sister, Mrs. E. M. Hansan living near Verden, a brother living in Iowa and an aged mother, Mrs. A. Willmeth, are left to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were held at the house Thursday, May 15, conducted by the Methodist minister of Chickasha, and her remains laid to rest in the Verden cemetery amid a host of sorrowing friends.

The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Clinton Cassidy [Casady] was buried in the Verden cemetery last Thursday [October 18, 1917].
