Directions to this cemetery:
On the east side of downtown Tuttle at the intersection of Hwy 37 and N. Cimmaron Rd., a military memorial is displayed. Go north on N. Cimmaron Rd. for about 2 to 2 ¼ miles to W. Silver City Ridge Rd. Go west ¼ mile and turn back north on the Oil Lease/Oil Operation gravel road. The cemetery is approximately ¾ of a mile and can easily be seen at the top of a small hill. You may have to open one or more gates along the Oil Lease road.

William Ward, a cowboy, was shot in 1876, in a gunfight and was the first burial.

Latitude: 35.328N Longitude: 97.749W

**Silver City Cemetery has been added to the National Register of Historical
Places. It's the only physical associated place to the Silver City Trading Post,
a very early settlement in what is now Grady County, Oklahoma.**
