Funeral services for Lorene B. Webb, 81, of Chickasha, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, in the New Life Christian Church with Gary Layman officiating.

Lorene B. Webb was born July 14, 1929, in Chickasha to Frank Welchel and Mamie Brown Welchel.

She departed this earth on July 27, 2010, at the age of 81 years.

Lorene was the last surviving sibling of the nine children in her family.

Lorene was married to Walter Wallace Webb on Dec. 5, 1949.

Their marriage blessed them with four childre, including Donna White, Dana Guy, Walter, Jr. (Sonny) Webb, and Steve Webb. Lorene was a lifelong Chickasha resident. Besides raising a family, she sold Avon for almost fifty years. She had been worked at several jobs in the Chickasha area before retiring from Delta Faucet at 66 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her daughter, Donna; her son, Sonny and her son-in-law, Bill Guy.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Guy; son, Steve Webb; two grandsons: Kevin White and Nathan Ramsey, and two great-granddaughters; Rileigh White and Raylee Ramsey. These two girls were the light of her life. She also leaves behind a great many nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved her dearly and were a great help during her illness.

Casket bearers will be Nathan Ramsey, Kevin White, Joel Hatchett, Tracy Bunnell, Dustin Payne, and Randy Crawford. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
