Funeral Mass for Dorothy Vivian Trujillo, 55, of Chickasha will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Name Catholic Church, with Father Jessee Perez and Father Elmer Schwarz officiating.

Wake services for Dorothy are scheduled for Tuesday April 5, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Dorothy Vivian Trujillo was born July 18, 1949, in Chickasha, the daughter of Orval Beaty and Delores Dunigan Beaty. She died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at her home in Chickasha.

Dorothy grew up in Chickasha attending Chickasha Public Schools and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968.

She married Clarence "C. D." Trujillo on June 1, 1968, in Chickasha.

They moved to Santa Maria, California for one year and then returned to Chickasha where she had made her home and raised her children.

She had been employed with Grady Memorial Hospital before moving to California for a short time and upon returning to Chickasha she again was employed with the hospital until 1976.

Dorothy later left the hospital and was employed with her parents who owned and operated Beaty's Country Club Kennel. Upon her mother's death in 1997, she took over the family business and operated it until her health forced her retirement in May 2003.

Dorothy and C. D. were members of the Chickasha Elks Lodge and members of the J.C's Dorothy was a natural born care giver, she was always thinking of others before herself. Her highest accomplishment was often referred to as "being the best Grammy in the world."

She was preceded in death by her parents Orval and Dolores Beaty.

Her survivors include her husband, Clarence "C. D." Trujillo, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, DeeDee and Patrick Williams, of Chickasha, Tina and Bryan Williams, of Grapevine, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law.

Dennis and Merrita Beaty, of Chickasha; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Neal Bunnell, of Cement, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Patrick and Dorothy Stewart Trujillo; three grandchildren, Bailey and Brandon Williams, both of Chickasha, Blake Williams of Grapevine, Texas and several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
