Funeral service for Lula Bertha Singleton, 97, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Sowers Memorial Chapel, Tuttle.

Lula Bertha Singleton was born February 22, 1907 and died February 6, 2005.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.

Lula Bertha Singleton was born February 22, 1907 in Gordon, Texas the daughter of Thomas Sidney and Sarah Elizabeth (Grinage) Tillery and died Sunday, February 6, 2005 in Moore, Oklahoma.

She and Robert Alma "Doc" Singleton were married December 26, 1922 in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Singleton moved to Tuttle in 1970 from Midwest City. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base. She was an airplane mechanic. She later worked at the Oklahoma State Fair Food Concessions. Mrs. Singleton was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Tuttle.

She was preceded in death by Husband: Robert Alma `Doc' Singleton; three sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include: numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment was at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
