Jesse Ray Selby
January 5, 1931 ~ February 19, 2013


Jesse Ray Selby of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home at the age of 82 Jesse was born on January 5, 1931 to Melton Harmon Selby and Mae Belle [Stacy] Selby. He married Mary Marie Rushton in Reno, Nevada on November 22, 1957

Jesse lived in the Macomb area for eighteen years. He worked for U.S. Steel until he was physically disabled in an accident. Jesse loved fishing, gardening and working outside.

Mr. Selby is survived by one son, Glenn Selby of Macomb, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Selby on May 6, 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and by two brothers, James Selby and Harmon Selby.

Arrangements for Mr. Selby were under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Mr. Selby was laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Condolences for the family may be made online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com.
