Estella Wanetta [Ferguson] Rogers

Funeral services for Estella Wanetta Rogers, 95, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at McRay Funderal Home. Rogers was born January 27, 1914, on a farm in Washita, Okla., the daughter of O.A. Ferguson and Rosetta Norman Ferguson. She died Dec. 21, 2010.

From age 3 she lived in Anadarko.

On Dec. 31, 1932, she married Theo Wilson Rogers and moved to Chickasha where he was employed at the Schuler Fruit Company.

They were members of the Epworth United Methodist Church Wedding Ring Class and enjoyed square dancing with various clubs.

Mr. Rogers preceded Mrs. Rogers in death on January 19, 1990.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by one son, W.A. Rogers (Kay) of Cashion, OK and two daughters, Gaye Holcomb (Don), Woodbine, MD and Shelly F. Williams, Ann Arbor MI. She is also survivied by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
