Joe Mullen McKelvey

McKelvey Rites To Be Sunday

Funeral services for Joe M. McKelvey, 69, are to be conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Church of Christ by Waldo Proffitt. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. McKelvey died about 9 o'clock Saturday morning at his home, 1122 South Nineteenth Street, following a two weeks' illness.

In 1928 Mr. McKelvey moved to Chickasha. He had been employed by the Chickasha Milling Company and only recently retired.

Surviving members of the family include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. V. F. Dabis of Chickasha, and Mrs. P. J. Fullerton of Elkhart, Kan.; four sons, J. A. Jr., C. T., and T. D., of Chickasha, and R. B. of Elk City; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Penn, and Mrs. Mollie Freeman of Alabama, and 10 grandchildren.
