Joanne Parker McAfee was born February 23, 1931 in Cherokee, Oklahoma the daughter of Otis and Nadine (Mayabb) Parker and died March 7, 2007 in Coweta, Oklahoma.

She and Orville McAfee were married August 14, 1948.

Joanne lived in Chickasha until her retirement. She and her husband owned and operated R & M Body Shop. They lived in Kingston, Oklahoma for a number of years and moved to Coweta three years ago to be near their children.

She was preceded in death by: Her Parents.

Survivors include: Husband: Orville McAfee of the home; one daughter: Linda McAfee of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son: Michael McAfee of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two grandsons: Steven McAfee and Christopher McAfee.

She loved her baby poodle "Pepi."

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
