Archibald A. Lambert

A resident of Chickasha since 1913, Arch A. Lambert, 81, died at 7:05 a.m. today at his home, 915 El Reno. Lambert had suffered a heart attack. A resuscitator from the city fire department failed to revive him.

Lambert had been in failing health with a heart ailment since June.

He was born Feb. 6, 1880, at Denision, Tex, and had lived in Chickasha since 1913. He was formerly of Duncan.

An engineer with the Chickasha Ice Company 21 years, Lambert retired in 1939.

His wife, Mrs. Grace Lambert, died in 1858. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Floetta Powell and Mrs. Ione West, both of Chickasha; two sons, Judge Lambert and Barney Copeland, both of Chickasha.

Two sisters, Mrs. John Teakell, Chickahsa, and Mrs. Eva Price, Iowa Park Tex.; three brothers, Verb Lambert, Fresno, Calif.; Lawrence Lambert, Nacona, Tex., and Wesley Lambert, Fort Worth; 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Sevier's Funeral Home. Interment will be a Rose Hill Cemetery.
