Mozell Marie Hazelrigg

A celebration of life for Mozell Marie Hazelrigg, age 86 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, in the Grand Assembly of God Church with Rev. Chuck Davis and Rev. Larry Hatfield officiating.

Mozell Marie was born the daughter of Glen Baker and Dona Cole Baker on January 19, 1921, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

She died on November 19, 2007, in Chickasha.

Mozell grew up on a farm east of Wewoka and graduated from Holdenville High School.

After graduation, she moved to Oklahoma City and worked for Douglas Aircraft as a spot welder during World War II.

Mozell married Julian Greer Hazelrigg in Oklahoma City where they lived for several years. She then lived in many places as she and her husband followed his work in the oilfield. In 1966, they settled in Chickasha

During her time in Chickasha, Mozell had been a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Grand Assembly of God Church and also the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Julian Greer Hazelrigg, one sister, Lurie Whitlock, and one son, Julian Glen Hazelrigg.

Survivors include: Son and Wife: Tony and Lois Hazelrigg of Ninnekah; Daughter-in-law: Vanita Hazelrigg of Yukon; Grandson: Michael Hazelrigg of San Antonio, Texas; Grandson: Daniel Hazelrigg of Yukon; Niece: Glenda Snyder of Seminole.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
