© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, 12 November 2009 Graveside service for Roy Lee Ginn, Sr., 74, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha. Roy Lee Ginn, Sr., was born April 2, 1935, in Tabler, Okla., the son of Alvin Roy and Beatrice [Joslin] Ginn. He died Nov. 9, 2009, at his home in Chickasha. Roy graduated from Chickasha High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Roy worked as a certified electrician in Dallas, Texas, before moving back to Chickasha in 1994. He worked for Chickasha Public Schools in the maintenance department until 2007. He was preceded in death by parents; one son, Roy Lee Ginn, Jr.; one sister, Marva Jean Jeffries; one niece, Elizabeth Scott; and one nephew, James Scott. Survivors include four sisters, Ida Lou Scott and family of Chickasha, Peggy Ann Scott and family of Chickasha, Betty Sue Pedroza and family of Helates, Texas, Jeraldean "Jeri" Pruett and family of Piedmont, Okla.; a very good and dear friend, Mary Tuck, of Chickasha; and 21 nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
