© Chickasha Daily Express Monday, May 27, 1968 Walter L. Dawson Walter L. Dawson, 81, 1519 Dakota, died at 11:00 p.m. Saturday in Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1886 in Iowa. He came to Oklahoma Indian Territory in 1902. He had farmed four miles west of Chickasha. He was married April 29, 1906, to the former Miss Martha Thomas. She preceded him in death July 29, 1946. He moved into Chickasha six years ago. Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Dorothy Jean Andrews of the home and Mrs. Florence Wilson of Alex.; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home with Rev. K. E. Rains, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church, officiating, and Rev. Howard Estes, assisting. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. |
