© The Chickasha Express-Star 29 May 2001 Thelma C. Carey Thelma C. Carey, 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2001, in a Corpus Christi hospital. She was born August 18, 1911, in Godley, Texas. She lived in Chickasha as a child. In 1932 she married Jewell L. Carey and lived in Chickasha most of her life. Thelma was a member of the Town and Country Ladies Club and the Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Carey is preceded in death by her husband, Jewell L. Carey. She is survived by her three children, Max Carey, of Potomac, Maryland, Connie and her husband, Ronnie Cotter, of Mountain View, Arkansas, Linda and her husband, David McCool, of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. |
