© Chickasha Daily Express Sunday, March 13, 1966 Kathrine Sarah Ann Buchanan Mrs. Kathrine Sarah Ann Buchanan, 84, died Friday in Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1881, in Bedford County, Tennessee, and married John William Buchanan on Jan. 21, 1896, moving in Parker County, Texas, in 1904. They moved to Oklahoma, settling in Grady County, in the fall of 1923. Mr. Buchanan preceded his wife in death several years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She had lived in Chickasha for the past four years. She had been in failing health for several years. She is survived by five sons, Charley of Wheatland, Harvey of Chandler, William of Oakland, Calif., Cecil of Chickasha, and Mack of Midwest City; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Byers, Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Onnie Roy, Rush Springs; twenty six grandchildren and fifty-four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the chapel of Sevier's Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Mosley officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
