© Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma March 20, 1991, page 12a, col 2 Laura Jean [Calaway] Boothe Memorial for Laura Jean Calaway Boothe, 64, Nashville, Tenn. and former Chickasha area resident will be 2 p.m., Thurs., March 21, 1991 in Rose Hill Cemetery. She was born July 4, 1926 in Chickasha and died Sat. March 16, 1991 in Oklahoma City as a result of an automobile accident. She was raised in Chickasha and attended the Oklahoma College for Women (now USAO). After graduating she moved to Rocky Ford, Colo. where she taught physical education. She lived many years in Tulsa where she coutinued to be active in education. She lived in Nashville the last several years. Survivors include two daughters Myra Fourwinds, Berkeley, Calif., and Rebecca Ann Boothe of Nashville; three sisters, Margaret Shaw of Oklahoma City, Erma Ferguson of Phoenix, Ariz. and Dorothy Stauffer of Seminole, Okla.; one brother, Richard Calaway of Lake Eufaula |
