'Sandy' Allen, 65, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the First Christian Church, Chickasha. Sandra R. 'Sandy' Allen was born November 9, 1944 in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Raymond and Thelma Mae [Boyer] Estep. She died February 10, 2010 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sandy came to Chickasha in 1959. She graduated from Chickasha High School in 1962. She attended Oklahoma College for Women and graduated from Oklahoma State University. She and Richard Allen were married May 29, 1965. Sandy taught English for one year in Choctaw, Oklahoma and also taught in the Chickasha Public Schools. She later worked for the Department of Human Services. Sandy was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by: Parents. Survivors include: Husband: Richard Allen, 2 sons: Dr. Tate Allen and wife, Judy, Dr. Derrick Allen and wife, Dr. Mary Beth Johnson, 1 sister: Janet Mueller and husband, Dick, 1 brother: Al Estep, 1 grandson: Liam James Allen. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
