Martin Luther Marker Jr

Martin Luther Marker Jr., fondly known as "Junebug," 76, of Lexington, died Tuesday, June 27, at Purcell Municipal Hospital.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pocasset Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Schultz officiating. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Mr. Marker was born July 25, 1929, in Lindsey, the oldest of three children of Martin Luther Sr. and Elizabeth McIntyre Marker.

He grew up in the Lindsay and Bradley area and continued living around Bradley and Chickasha for many years. In 2000 he moved to Purcell to be close to his brother and sister-in-law

He liked to read and look at books.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Elizabeth.

He is survived by his brother Jesse Marker and wife Lee of Noble, and sister Marg Hart and husband Don of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
