Roderick Troy "Rocky" Jones


Roderick Troy "Rocky" Jones, 35, of Mineral Wells, Texas, formerly of Chickasha, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Mineral Wells, Texas. The son of Charles Monroe and Sandra Kay [Collins] Jones, Rocky was born June 26, 1977 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Rocky was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Verden.

He loved going to Texas Rangers baseball games. Rocky loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his nephew.

Rocky was preceded in death by his father; a nephew, Roger Adam Hahn; his grandparents, Monroe and Dorothy Jones and Roger and Noveline Collins; two uncles, Truman Jones and Buddy Winn; and aunt, Dorothy Winn.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Cantrell and her husband, Bud of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Chuck Jones of Mineral Wells, Texas; one sister, Mashelle Hahn and her husband, William of Fort Worth, Texas; a nephew, Aaron Henry Hahn of Fort Worth, Texas; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Terry Jolley of Blanchard; aunt Bobbye Jones of Gore; numerous cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Verden. Interment will follow in the Pocasset Cemetery in Pocasset.
