Jerry W. Butts

The graveside service for Jerry W. Butts, 71, of Enid, will be held at a later date in Pocasset Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born April 9, 1938, in Enid to Jesse T. and Marjorie Butts and died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Integris Bass Pavilion.

He graduated from Enid High School in 1956, enlisting in the Navy that year. He was honorably discharged in 1966.

He attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College in 1968.

He worked several jobs including five years with Oklahoma Department of Human Services and two years with Enid Group Homes. He received his paralegal certificate in 1991.

He was president of Residents Association at Meadows Point Apartments. Surviving is one niece.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to a charity of donor's choice.
