Myrtle Lucile [Stover] Brown
January 10, 1916 ~ October 25, 2005


Funeral service for Myrtle Lucile Brown, 89, of Pocasset, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Myrtle Lucile Brown was born January 10, 1916 in Oklahoma the daughter of J. K. and Mary Stover and died October 25, 2005 in Chickasha.

She lived in Grady County all of her life. She and M. E. "Possum" Brown were married May 12, 1933, and he preceded her in death. They farmed in the Chickasha and Pocasset areas and did custom combining.

Mrs. Brown mothered her one son, Melton LaQue Brown, and he preceded her in death May 19, 1934.

She became a Jehovah Witness July of 1967.

Mrs. Brown was also preceded in death by: Parents; two brothers: Earl Stover and Earnest Stover; one sister: Margreite Tarbutton.

Survivors include: two grandsons: Malcom Brown of Colorado; Kelvin Brown of Arizona; four great grandchildren: Michelle Brown, Amanda Brown, Patrick Brown, and James Willis; two great grandchildren: Olivia and Gabriel.

Interment will be in the Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
