Robert Bruce Smith was born to Don and Leann Smith of Oakley, KS, March 2, 1955, and died January 13, 2004, in Oakley, KS, after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Barbra Smallwood-Smith of 20 years; 3 daughters: Jaylene Smallwood, Sandra Cansler and Patricia Mise; 2 grandsons, Michael and Nicholas, and 1 granddaughter, Ashley, all of Oklahoma City, OK.

Graveside services will be held in the Oakley Cemetery at 10:30 on January 16, 2004.

Bruce worked many jobs in his life, including being a deejay on the radio. He also worked many years for the Chickasha Auto and Truck Salvage.

Everyone thought the world of Bruce. He would always smile and say "Be right back with just what you need," and of course his favorite tools were Snap-on!
