Neysa [Hardy] Davis
Memorial service for Neysa Hardy Davis, 84, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Chickasha, Okla., is pending with McRay Funeral Home. Neysa Hardy Davis was born Jan. 17, 1918, and died on Tuesday, June 25, 2002, in Houston.

Neysa H. Davis, passed away in her home on June 25, 2002, Neysa, one of four children, was born in 1918 to Lena and Charles Hardy of Saskatchewan, Canada.
After receiving her nursing degree in Canada, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she met her husband, Wesley. Wesley was a family practitioner in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where Neysa was his first office nurse. For many years, Neysa was the school nurse and became a nurse educator. In 1992, Neysa moved to Houston, Texas.
She joined the West University Methodist Church where she was active in the Fidelis Sunday School Class, ukulele band, and various bridge clubs. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.
Neysa was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy; 2 sons: John and wife, Nancy and Jim and wife De. She has five granddaughters: Kathy, Amanda, Lauren, Laura and Mary Katelyn.
The family wishes to think all of Neysa's caregivers who were so kind and supportive these last months, especially Mary Crooks and Ruby Holley.
Memorial services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2002, West University United Methodist Church, 3611 University Blvd.
Memorial services will be held in Chickasha, under the direction of McRay Funeral Home, at a date to be announced later.
For those desiring, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to W. U. United Methodist Church in Neysa's name.

Memorial service for Neysa Hardy Davis, age 84 of Houston, TX, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2002, in the chapel of the Epworth United Methodist Church. Rev. Don Horton will officiate.
Neysa H. Davis passed away in her home on June 25, 2002. Neysa, one of four children, was born in 1918 to Lena and Charles Hardy of Saskatchewan, Canada.
After receiving her nursing degree in Canada, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she met her husband, Wesley. Wesley was a family practitioner in Chickasha where Neysa was his first office nurse. For many years, Neysa was the school nurse for the Chickasha school system. She later received a Master's Degree in education and counseling and became a nurse educator.
While in Chickasha, Neysa was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Discussion Sunday School Class on the Yet Set. In 1992, Neysa moved to Houston, Texas. She joined the West University Methodist Church where she was active in the Fidelis Sunday School Class, hand bell choir, ukulele band, and various bridge clubs. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Epworth United Methodist Church, or the Myasthenia Gravis Research Foundation.
Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
