Funeral services for Audrey Ellen Thompson, 86, on Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Chickasha.
Audrey Ellen Thompson was born February 27, 1918, in Cheek, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles Hare and Minnie Smith Hare.
She attended Bloomfield School for Indian Girls in Ardmore, OK, and graduated from Chickasha High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Jeff" Thompson, in 1979, whom she married in 1937.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ellen Thompson of Cleo Springs, OK; two daughters: Loretta Clements of Weed, CA, and Lola Frances Wright of Bentonville, AR; a sister-in-law, Edith Dowby of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation is set for Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery in Laverty, OK, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
