Shirley [Sumners] Branch

Private family graveside for Shirley Branch, age 64, of Chickasha will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Laverty Cemetery. Pastor Terry Jones will officiate.

Shirley Ann Branch was born on August 10, 1942, in Stockton, California, the daughter of Andrew Leroy Sumners and Ruby Lorene Bailey Sumners. She passed away on March 31, 2007, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Shirley moved to Chickasha in 1946 from California. She attended Chickasha schools and later worked as a secretary for a local law firm. Shirley was a sweet spirited and kind hearted person. She was also a loving mother and grandmother. Shirley was a member of the Lighthouse Ministries church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Tom Kirk.

Survivors include: Son: Robert L. Milam of Chickasha; Daughter: Christy Branch of Chickasha; Daughter: Lori Simmons of Comanche; Sister: Sharon Williams of Chickasha; Eleven Grandchildren.

There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
