J. H. Underwood Dead

Death at last claimed J. H. Underwood Tuesday night and ended the suffering under which he had been laboring for several months from cancer. Mr. Underwood was in a hospital at Oklahoma City for a long time and was discharged as incurable a few weeks ago, since which time he grew weaker rapidly.

The funeral was held Wednesday with interment in Hazel Dell cemetery.

The deceased was one of the pioneer settlers of the Hazel Dell community, and leaves a large family, consisting of a wife and grown children who were present when the end came.
