Marcos A. Cervantes
April 25, 1961 ~ June 28, 2014


Marcos A. Cervantes, 53, of Blanchard, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma. Marcos was born April 25, 1961 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Isabe Cervantes Martines and Lazaro Aguinaga Luna.

He worked as a brick mason and attended Friends Country Church in Dibble. In his spare time, Marcos enjoyed taking care of his animals, watching wrestling on TV, playing bingo, and going to the casino.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Marcos is survived by his wife, Flora Woodward of Blanchard; four daughters, Michelle Phillips and husband, Matt, of Chickasha, Rebecca Richard and husband, Mike, of Oklahoma City, Naomi Woodward of Oklahoma City, and Lisa Woodward of Oklahoma City; four sons, Kenneth Holland of Dibble, Andrew Holland of Dibble, Bruce Cass of Oklahoma City, and Brice Woodward of Blanchard; fourteen grandchildren and one on the way; two great grandchildren; his mother, Maria Isabe Cervantes Martines of Mexico; four sisters, Maria, Paulina, Socorro, and Estela; five brothers, Fernando, Martin, Anastasio, Cosme, and Benigno; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in Hale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
